연방정부 인턴쉽 수료 후 캐나다 첫 한인 연방 의원 연아 마틴 상원의원실 보좌관으로 근무. 현 연방 이민국 정착부에 근무 중. 2006년부터 캘거리에 거주하며 캘거리 장학 재단, 한국전 참전용사 협의회 등 다양한 단체에 봉사로 기여중.

After successfully completing the Parliamentary Internship Program and spending a few years in Ottawa gaining invaluable work experience, Abbie came back to Calgary where she calls home, to work for the Federal Government. Currently working at the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada while spending her personal time volunteering for local religious and community organizations.
